Description
The GPSMAP 722 Plus is a 7 inch touchscreen chartplotter built for boaters who want a compact helm display that still acts as a full controller for a connected Garmin marine system. Its bright WVGA touchscreen drives a preloaded worldwide basemap, and an internal 10 Hz GPS updates position and heading ten times per second for smooth, responsive charting.
This is the non-sonar model in the 722 Plus family, so it relies on a networked Garmin sonar module or transducer when fishfinding is required. It connects over the Garmin Marine Network, NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183, with built-in Wi-Fi for the ActiveCaptain app, and it can share radar, sonar, autopilot and sensor data across additional displays.
