Description
The GPSMAP 722xs Plus packs a 7 inch touchscreen chartplotter and a built-in fishfinder into a compact helm unit. The bright WVGA display carries a preloaded worldwide basemap, and an internal 10 Hz GPS keeps position and heading updating ten times a second for smooth, accurate navigation.
Its integrated sonar provides 1 kW CHIRP traditional plus Garmin ClearVu scanning sonar, and it is also compatible with Panoptix all-seeing sonar including LiveScope when the matching transducer is added. The unit networks over the Garmin Marine Network, NMEA 2000 and NMEA 0183, with built-in Wi-Fi for ActiveCaptain, so it can sit at the centre of a multi-display system with radar, autopilots and sensors.
