Description
The Garmin GT50M-TM is an all-in-one transom-mount transducer that combines mid-band CHIRP traditional sonar with CHIRP ClearVu and CHIRP SideVu scanning, making it well suited to shallow-water fishing. Traditional CHIRP sweeps 80 to 160 kHz at 600 W for crisp fish arches and strong target separation, while the ClearVu and SideVu elements run at 455 and 800 kHz and 500 W to deliver near-photographic images of structure below and to each side of the boat.
A built-in fast-response temperature sensor is included, and the transducer reads to about 1,500 ft on traditional sonar and 750 ft on the scanning channels. This is the legacy 12-pin part number for the GT50M-TM; it shares the same sonar specification as the current GT50M-TM (010-12222-00) and mounts on transom angles from 0 to 70 degrees.
