Description
The Garmin inReach Mini is a compact, rugged satellite communicator that keeps you connected beyond the reach of mobile coverage. Using the global Iridium satellite network, it lets you send and receive text messages, share your location, download inReach weather forecasts and trigger an interactive SOS to the Garmin Response coordination centre, staffed 24/7. An active satellite subscription is required.
Weighing around 100 g, it pairs over Bluetooth with the Garmin Explore and Earthmate apps on your phone for easier typing, maps and tracking. The internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery lasts up to 90 hours in the default 10-minute tracking mode, and the sunlight-readable monochrome display keeps essential information visible on the water and on the trail. Water rated to IPX7.
