The Garmin Thru-Hull Intelliducer is a depth and temperature sensor with NMEA 0183 output. This model is matched to hull deadrise angles of 13 to 24 degrees for accurate readings. Operating at 160 kHz with a depth capability of 900 ft (275 m), it feeds depth and temperature data to up to three NMEA 0183-compliant devices. It is designed for metal- and fibreglass-hull boats.

Description
The Garmin Thru-Hull Intelliducer determines water depth and temperature and sends the data to your NMEA 0183 devices. This version is matched to hull deadrise angles of 13 to 24 degrees, which is important because choosing the correct angle for your hull is what delivers accurate depth readings. Operating at 160 kHz with 150 W RMS of power, it reaches depths of up to 900 ft (275 m) depending on water salinity, bottom type and other conditions. One Intelliducer can supply depth and temperature to as many as three NMEA 0183-compliant devices. It is designed for metal- and fibreglass-hull boats and should not be installed in a wood hull. The sensor runs from a wide 9 to 33 Vdc supply, draws a maximum of 2 W and is supplied with a 9 m (29 ft 6 in) power and data cable. For salt-water installations the submerged surface must be coated with water-based antifouling paint.

Which deadrise angle is this Intelliducer for?
This model is designed for hull deadrise angles of 13 to 24 degrees. If the deadrise angle of your boat does not fall within this range, you will not obtain accurate depth readings, so it is important to select the correct model for your hull.
What does the Intelliducer measure?
The Intelliducer determines water depth and temperature and sends the data to your NMEA 0183 devices. It operates at 160 kHz with a depth capability of 900 ft (275 m).
How many devices can the Intelliducer feed?
You can connect up to three NMEA 0183-compliant devices to receive data from one Intelliducer.
What hulls is the Intelliducer suitable for?
The Intelliducer is designed for metal- and fibreglass-hull boats. It should not be installed in a wood-hull boat.
