Description
This Garmin transom-mount speed sensor uses a paddlewheel to measure your boat speed through the water along with water temperature. The readings are displayed on a compatible Garmin chartplotter or fishfinder, adding speed and temperature data to your sonar and navigation pages.
The sensor fits to the transom with a kick-up bracket that protects the paddlewheel from impact, and it terminates in a 7-pin connector for compatible Garmin units. It is a practical way to add through-water speed and temperature sensing without a thru-hull installation.
