Description
This Garmin plastic transom-mount speed sensor measures your boat speed through the water and water temperature using a paddlewheel, and shows the readings on a compatible Garmin chartplotter or fishfinder. It is a simple way to add through-water speed and temperature to your sonar and navigation displays.
The plastic housing mounts on the transom with a kick-up bracket to protect the paddlewheel, and the cable ends in an 8-pin connector for compatible Garmin units. A transom installation avoids the need for a thru-hull fitting.
