Description

The EGIS CableCap lug insulator protects 2/0 AWG wiring terminations against accidental shorts or incidental contact, and is commonly fitted to starters, solenoids, alternators, generators, windlasses and battery terminals. It suits terminations with a diameter up to 32.0mm (1.26 inch) and has a post height of 34.5mm (1.36 inch).

Moulded from high-temperature PVC with a UL-94 V2 flammability rating, the cap offers rugged construction for use anywhere on a vehicle or vessel. Red is used for positive-side insulation, and the design supports industry standards by covering live terminations to prevent electrical hazards.
