Description
The EGIS 8720-1550 is a dual XD Series Flex 2 module combining two independent 500A bi-stable relays (relay/relay) in a single compact, sealed housing. It replaces two separate solenoids, reducing mounting space and weight, and each relay has its own front-facing manual override knob for locking it open or closed.
Each relay is rated 500A continuous (1500A cranking) for 12V and 24V systems, draws just 1.3mA off-state, and is programmable via dip switches for relay, battery-disconnect or voltage-sensing duty. Sealed to IP67/IP6K9K with stainless-steel hardware, the module is pin-for-pin compatible with legacy ML-Series relays and links to further XD relays via the 8790/8791 busbars. Supplied with tinned flying leads.
