Description
This is a replacement 12kW magnetron of the JRC MSF1425A type, the microwave tube that generates the transmit pulse in a commercial pulse radar. It is a service spare for the 12kW transceivers used in Navico and Simrad commercial radar systems, where magnetron output naturally declines over the life of the tube and eventually requires renewal to restore full detection range. Fitting should be carried out by a qualified radar technician.
