Description
The Raymarine Signal Module is an input and interface module for an EmpirBus-based digital switching system. It brings external signals, sensor inputs and status feedback into the switching network so they can be used within the system's logic, for example to trigger outputs, drive indicators or feed monitoring displays. Working as part of the wider digital switching system, it passes its data to the system master which runs the configured switching logic. Digital switching replaces conventional fuse and relay panels with a programmable, software-defined system, reducing wiring complexity while adding scheduling, monitoring and fault protection.
