Description
The Raymarine MCU-200 Master Control Unit is the central controller for an EmpirBus-based digital switching installation, with the added benefit of an integrated GSM module. As the system master it runs the configured switching logic and links control modules, switch panels and monitoring devices that manage a vessel's DC electrical loads over CAN-bus. The on-board GSM connectivity enables remote monitoring, status checks and alerting from ashore, so owners can keep an eye on critical systems when away from the boat. Digital switching replaces conventional fuse boxes and relay panels with a programmable, software-defined system, reducing wiring complexity while adding scheduling, monitoring and fault protection. The system is configured using the dedicated MCU Programming Interface.
