Description
The Simrad RS40-B is a fixed-mount DSC VHF radio with a built-in Class B AIS transceiver, supplied here together with the GPS-500 antenna. The integrated AIS transmits and receives vessel position information so you can see and be seen by other AIS-equipped traffic, while the GPS-500 supplies the position fix the radio needs for DSC and AIS. A capable all-in-one communication and collision-awareness package.
