Description
The Panoptix PS51-TH is a standard 2-inch stainless-steel thru-hull transducer that pulls double duty, adding both FrontVu forward-looking sonar and LiveVu Forward to a compatible Garmin chartplotter. FrontVu helps you avoid running aground by showing the bottom up to 91 m (300 ft) ahead of the boat, at roughly 8 to 10 times the current depth, while LiveVu Forward shows fish and objects ahead in real time. A phased-array multibeam design with a narrow 20-degree beam and a built-in AHRS sensor keeps the picture stable in rough water. It mounts on a flat location of less than 6 degrees deadrise, or with a fabricated fairing block for higher deadrise hulls, and connects directly to the Garmin Marine Network, sharing its FrontVu data across other chartplotters with no separate black box required.
