Description
The Garmin GC 255 is a flush-mount marine camera with a stainless steel thru-hull housing that sits sleek and low against the hull. It streams 1080p full HD video to compatible Garmin chartplotters, with a wide 160 degree horizontal field of view and multiple on-screen views including standard, wide-angle FishEye and overhead Bird's Eye, plus configurable distance markers and guidance lines to make docking and close-quarters manoeuvring easier.
The adjustable lens module tilts down by up to 35 degrees inside its enclosure for precise aiming, and a 1x to 4x digital zoom brings detail closer. The camera connects through the supplied GVAM 10 black box using Garmin BlueNet networking and is compatible with both Garmin BlueNet and Garmin Marine Network systems (full HD on BlueNet; up to 720p on the Garmin Marine Network).
