Description
The EmpirBus Connect 50 packs the inputs, outputs and intelligence of a digital switching system into a single compact DC module, making it ideal for smaller installations or as a building block in larger ones. This 24 V model connects directly to DC power on M6 bolts and to the network through a standard NMEA 2000 connector, controlling and monitoring up to 11 input channels and 20 output channels.
Inputs can be configured as digital or analogue, reading switches, sensors and frequency signals, while outputs drive loads directly with positive, half-bridge and window-wiper modes and per-channel software fusing. On-unit LED indication and touch control allow channels to be read and overridden directly at the module, including manual override and fuse reset in the event of a bus failure. Up to six Connect 50 units can share a single network, scaling the system to suit the vessel.
