Description
The Garmin GPSMAP 1222 puts a large 12 inch high resolution WXGA display at the helm, controlled by a tactile keypad and rotary dial for confident operation in any sea state. The internal 10 Hz GPS/GLONASS receiver updates position and heading ten times per second, giving you smooth, precise navigation on a screen big enough for split chart, radar and instrument views.
Preloaded with a worldwide basemap and ready for BlueChart g3 and LakeVu cartography, the 1222 networks through the Garmin Marine Network, NMEA 2000, NMEA 0183, Wi-Fi, ANT and Bluetooth, so you can add radar, autopilot, sensors and the ActiveCaptain app. This is the chart only model with no built in sonar.
