Description
The Garmin GMR 626 xHD2 is a complete 6 ft open-array radar, supplied with both the pedestal and the 6-foot antenna. The longer array tightens the horizontal beamwidth to 1.1 degrees, which sharpens target separation and shoreline detail, making it well suited to larger yachts and sport-fishing boats running offshore and overnight.
This magnetron pulse radar delivers 6 kW of peak power and detection out to 72 nautical miles, with antenna rotation at 24 and 48 rpm. MARPA tracks up to 10 targets, while dual-range and dual-radar support let a single antenna feed close and long-range views to networked displays. It connects to compatible Garmin chartplotters over the Garmin Marine Network.
