Description

The Garmin GT24UHD-TM packs Ultra High-Definition ClearVu scanning sonar and high-wide CHIRP traditional sonar into a single compact transom-mount transducer. Traditional CHIRP produces large, clear fish arches and reliable bottom tracking, while UHD ClearVu at 800 kHz renders near-photographic detail of structure directly below the boat.

Designed for inshore and freshwater anglers, the GT24UHD-TM reaches 244 m (800 ft.) on traditional sonar and 61 m (200 ft.) on ClearVu, running 350 W on each. It mounts on a transom or trolling motor, carries a fast-response temperature sensor, and connects to compatible Garmin ECHOMAP and GPSMAP chartplotters via an 8-pin connector. It is the transducer bundled with the ECHOMAP UHD 72cv.

What sonar types does the GT24UHD-TM support?
It combines high-wide CHIRP traditional sonar (150 to 240 kHz) with Garmin ClearVu Ultra High-Definition scanning sonar at 800 kHz. It does not include SideVu.
How deep can the GT24UHD-TM read?
Traditional CHIRP sonar reaches 244 m (800 ft.) and ClearVu reaches 61 m (200 ft.). Actual performance depends on water conditions, salinity and bottom type.
How is the GT24UHD-TM mounted?
It is a transom-mount transducer and can also be fitted to a trolling motor. Mounting brackets and hardware are included, along with a built-in temperature sensor.
What connector does the GT24UHD-TM use?
It uses an 8-pin Garmin transducer connector with a 6 m (20 ft.) cable. Some chartplotters require a Garmin adapter cable, sold separately.
Which Garmin chartplotters work with the GT24UHD-TM?
It is compatible with STRIKER Vivid/Plus, ECHOMAP UHD2 and ECHOMAP Ultra 2 chartplotters, the GPSMAP 8600xsv and 9000 series, the GPSMAP 7x3/9x3/12x3/16x3xsv series, and the GCV 20 and GSD 25 sonar modules. It is also the bundled transducer for the ECHOMAP UHD 72cv.
