Description
This Garmin 8-pin female to wire block adapter lets you carry an older transducer over to a newer Garmin sonar that uses an 8-pin connection. One side presents an 8-pin female connector to suit the sonar, while the other side provides a wire block where the bare leads from a legacy 6-pin style transducer are connected.
The adapter saves replacing a serviceable transducer simply because the connector has changed, making it a practical part when upgrading the sonar at the helm. Connections are made at the wire block during installation to match the transducer to the new sounder.
