Description

The Garmin GA 38 is an external GPS and GLONASS antenna that provides a stronger satellite signal to compatible Garmin equipment, including chartplotters, VHF radios and AIS units. By tracking both the GPS and GLONASS constellations, it improves positioning reliability, and its low-profile waterproof housing suits exposed installations.

The antenna connects using a standard BNC connector to the port labelled ANTENNA or EXT GPS on a compatible device, and a generous 10 m cable allows flexible routing around the vessel. Three supplied brackets cover pole, surface and under-deck mounting, so it can be sited wherever it has the clearest view of the sky. The fully gasketed, high-impact plastic-alloy housing is rated to IEC 60529 IPX7.
