Description
The Maretron GPS200 is a state-of-the-art second-generation GPS/GLONASS antenna and receiver capable of producing ten position fixes per second. It has unprecedented sensitivity and can even be mounted underneath a fibreglass deck, and it broadcasts precision magnetic variation derived from the current position and the world magnetic model (WMM2020) so instruments show accurate magnetic headings.
Fully compliant and certified to the NMEA 2000 standard, the GPS200 is a plug-and-play device that connects directly to the network and feeds position, speed and time to navigation software, chartplotters, autopilots and dedicated displays such as Maretron DSM Series units or N2KView. Its compact, waterproof housing provides years of reliable service. The receiver automatically decodes SBAS corrections including WAAS, EGNOS and MSAS for better than 2.5 metre accuracy.
Mounting is straightforward, either directly to a deck or onto a standard 1 inch to 14 TPI marine mount, making the GPS200 an easy, high-performance position source for any NMEA 2000 system.
