Description
The IC-M37E is a high-power, buoyant marine VHF handheld radio that delivers 6 watts of transmit power for reliable, extended-range communication. Its straightforward, rugged design is comfortable to hold, simple to operate and easy to read, making it equally at home with leisure boaters, clubs and commercial users.
Large keys and an easy-grip body are paired with a big LCD that clearly shows channel numbers and status icons, while a powerful 700mW audio output keeps communication clear in noisy conditions. Built to IP57 dust and waterproof protection, the radio floats if dropped overboard and is easy to locate thanks to its flashing red LED and backlit display, and the AquaQuake function clears water from the speaker grille. A Channel History function recalls the last five channels used at the touch of a button. The supplied lithium-ion battery gives more than 12 hours of operation, and a versatile drop-in charger can be powered from mains or 12V on board. A BP-297 battery case is supplied as standard for back-up AAA power.
