Description
The Icom SM-26 is an affordable desktop microphone for the Private Mobile Radio market, giving control rooms, reception desks and base operators a comfortable fixed microphone for everyday dispatch. It uses a uni-directional dynamic element with a built-in amplifier for clear, intelligible audio, and connects directly to Icom PMR VHF and UHF mobile radios and repeaters via its 8-pin modular connector, in the same way as its predecessor the SM-25. Large, easy-to-use PTT, Monitor and Monitor-Lock switches make operation simple, and the Monitor switch can be cloned to activate normal or priority scan. A strong, durable build and slim footprint suit it to permanent desk installation.
