Description
The BC-152 is a single-bay desktop trickle charger for the Icom IC-M87 marine/PBR handheld and the IC-F51/IC-F61 PMR handhelds. It charges the BP-227 series Li-ion battery pack at a low rate, either as a bare pack or with the pack still fitted to the radio.
Trickle charging is gentler on the cells than rapid charging and suits radios that sit in the cradle overnight, or that live permanently on a charging shelf between watches. Where a faster turnaround is needed, Icom's BC-190 rapid desktop charger is the alternative for the same packs.
The charger requires a mains AC adapter, which is not part of the charger body.
