Description
The BP-227AX is an ATEX approved 7.2 V, 1700 mAh lithium-ion battery pack for radios used in potentially explosive atmospheres. It fits the IC-F51 and IC-F61 ATEX handhelds and the IC-M87 marine ATEX radio, giving the same form factor as the standard BP-227 while carrying intrinsic safety approval.
This is the non dust-rated version of the pack. Where a dust-rated approval is required, use the BP-227AXD instead.
