Description
The OPC-966U is Icom's USB cloning and programming cable for handportables fitted with the 9-pin accessory connector, including the IC-F51/F61, the IC-F3060 and IC-F3062 series and the IC-M87 marine/PBR handheld.
It connects the radio directly to a PC's USB port so that Icom's cloning software can read and write the radio's channel and configuration data.
The cable has been discontinued by Icom. Note also that its USB driver is not interchangeable with the driver used by the later OPC-966U-1.
