Description
The BP-245H is the high-capacity Li-ion battery pack for the Icom IC-M71 and IC-M73 marine VHF handhelds. Rated 7.2 V and 2,150 mAh typical, it is the larger of the two packs offered for these radios and gives the longest operating time between charges.
It clips onto the back of the radio in place of the standard BP-245N, and is charged either in the BC-210 single rapid charger or in a BC-197 six-way multi-charger fitted with AD-129 adapter cups.
Li-ion chemistry means there is no memory effect - the pack can be put back on charge at any state without shortening its service life.
