Description
The HM-205B is the black front-panel speaker-microphone supplied as standard with Icom's IC-M423G/GE and IC-M506 series fixed-mount VHF/DSC radios, and is sold separately as a replacement or spare.
Channel up/down, channel 16/call channel and transmit power (Hi/Low) keys are built into the microphone body, so the main radio functions can be worked without reaching the front panel. A large 45 mm diameter speaker keeps received audio clear at an exposed helm.
Construction is IPX8 waterproof: the microphone withstands submersion in 1 m of water for 60 minutes.
