Description
The Icom HM-214V is a waterproof hand microphone for the GM600 GMDSS VHF marine transceiver. As the standard fist microphone for this Class A DSC system, it provides reliable push-to-talk operation in the demanding conditions found on commercial SOLAS regulated vessels engaged in international voyages. Its waterproof construction makes it well suited to exposed helm and bridge positions. The GM600 forms part of a complete GMDSS station and, when installed alongside the GM800 MF/HF radio, delivers VHF, MF and HF coverage. The HM-214V is a direct replacement microphone for the GM600.
