The Icom HM-236 is a waterproof speaker-microphone for use with the IC-M85E commercial handheld marine VHF radio. It provides a remote speaker and microphone so the radio can stay clipped away while you listen and transmit, which suits demanding commercial and professional use where hands-free operation is valued. Its waterproof construction helps it cope with the wet, exposed environments these radios are used in. As well as the IC-M85E, the HM-236 is compatible with Icom's IP730D and IP740D hybrid LTE/digital two-way radio series, making it a flexible audio accessory across both marine and professional radio platforms.
