Do I need an H5000 CPU to use the Graphic Display?

To access the full H5000 feature set the Graphic Display works as part of an H5000 system with a Hydra, Hercules or Performance CPU. It connects to the network and is also used to configure the system and set up the autopilot.

How is the Graphic Display powered?

It is network powered from the NMEA 2000 / Micro-C backbone (12 V DC nominal, 9-16 V), drawing about 1.9 W typical and 2.3 W maximum (4 LEN), so no separate power cable is needed at the display.

Is the Graphic Display waterproof?

Yes, it carries an IPX7 waterproof rating for cockpit and exposed mounting, with a compass safe distance of 0.3 m (1.0 ft).

How do I update the Graphic Display software?

Save the upgrade (.upd) file to the root folder of a FAT/FAT32 USB stick, remove the service port cap on the rear of the display, insert the stick and power on. The display recognises the file and completes the upgrade automatically.
