Description
The Actisense PRO-NDC-1E2K is the world-first RINA type approved multiplexer to combine three connectivity protocols in one device: NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000 and Ethernet. Built on the proven PRO-NDC platform, it takes five OPTO-isolated NMEA 0183 inputs and two ISO-Drive isolated outputs and adds a direct NMEA 2000 M12 backbone connection, letting legacy 0183 instruments and a modern NMEA 2000 network exchange data without a separate gateway.
Bi-directional conversion is handled by the renowned Actisense conversion library built into the unit, so data can move between NMEA 0183, NMEA 2000, N2K ASCII and Actisense proprietary formats. Advanced sentence-level filtering, data routing and automatic failover between primary, secondary and tertiary sources give the installer precise control over what data flows where, and high-speed Ethernet streaming shares NMEA data across connected networks. Everything is configured through a web browser over Ethernet, with no operating system compatibility issues and no crossover cable required.
Housed in rugged 316 stainless steel with two-part pluggable connectors that accept both screw and screwless terminals, plus diagnostic LEDs on every port, the PRO-NDC-1E2K mounts to a bulkhead or, with the optional DIN-KIT-1, to a DIN rail.
