Description

The Iris IRIS-S460 is a compact high definition marine IP camera that delivers up to 3MP video over a standard network connection. Machined from 316 marine grade stainless steel, it shrugs off the harsh salt water environment while keeping a discreet 60mm diameter footprint ideal for engine rooms, anchor wells and tight installations.

It is ONVIF compliant and works directly with Raymarine and Axiom chart plotters running LH2 or later, and with Simrad, Lowrance and B&G displays on current software; Garmin systems are supported using an Iris CMAC interface. Power over Ethernet or 12VDC operation, dual H.264 streaming and a full set of image controls make it simple to integrate and configure through a browser.

A built-in IR-cut filter and six 850nm infra red LEDs switch on automatically at night to give near-field visibility to around 10 metres in total darkness. With very low power draw and IP66 protection, the IRIS-S460 suits onboard surveillance, deck and companionway monitoring, and docking or backup duties on craft from workboats to mega yachts.

Which chart plotters is the IRIS-S460 compatible with?
It works directly with Raymarine and Axiom chart plotters on LH2 software or higher, and with Simrad, Lowrance and B&G displays running the latest NOS/NEON OS. Garmin systems are supported when used with an Iris CMAC switcher, interface or recorder.
How is the IRIS-S460 powered?
The camera supports Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af) over a single network cable, or 12VDC via a DC power socket. Power draw is around 1W nominal, rising to about 1.8W with the infra red LEDs on.
Is the IRIS-S460 ONVIF compliant?
Yes. It is ONVIF Profile S v2.4 compliant and supports multiple streams, variable bitrates and standard network protocols, so it integrates with most ONVIF NVRs and software.
What is the night vision range?
Six built-in 850nm infra red LEDs, controlled by an automatic day/night IR-cut filter, provide near-field illumination to approximately 10 metres in low light or total darkness.
