The Iris IRIS460 is a miniature 3MP marine IP dome camera measuring just 58mm in diameter, finished in white with a 1.8mm wide-angle lens giving a 125-degree horizontal field of view. It connects over PoE or 12VDC and is compatible with Raymarine, Navico and Furuno multifunction displays. Built-in infrared LEDs provide night visibility to around 10 metres.

Description

The IRIS460 is one of the smallest waterproof marine IP cameras available, only slightly larger than a golf ball at 58mm in diameter by 57mm high. Its compact size lets owners add discreet high-definition surveillance to a vessel without detracting from its appearance, making it an ideal back-up, docking, deck, companionway or engine-room camera.

The 3MP sensor produces crisp 2048 x 1536 video and uses H.264 compression with dual streams to move efficiently around an onboard network. A mechanical IR-cut filter delivers true day and night operation, and built-in infrared LEDs switch on automatically in low light to give clear images in darkness. The camera is ONVIF Profile S compliant and runs from 12VDC or IEEE 802.3af Power over Ethernet.

The IRIS460 connects directly to Raymarine (LightHouse 2 and above) and Axiom plotters, Navico displays from Simrad, Lowrance and B&G, and Furuno TimeZero 4.1 and above. Garmin compatibility is achieved using the Iris CMAC range of switchers and recorders.

How is the IRIS460 powered?
The camera runs from 12VDC or from Power over Ethernet (IEEE 802.3af). A PoE injector such as the Iris PoE01 or PoE04v2 can be used where a single network cable is preferred.
