Description
The Kicker KMF10 is a 10-inch free-air marine subwoofer that delivers serious low end without the need for a sealed or ported enclosure, so you can add real bass to a boat where space for a box is scarce. An injection-moulded polypropylene cone, co-moulded Santoprene surround and UniPlate back plate and pole piece give it the excursion and control to fill an open deck, and it is happiest with around 175 watts of clean power.
Every part of the KMF10 is built to live on the water. The polymer basket resists corrosion, the motor uses thick tinsel leads and a large ceramic magnet, and a protective terminal cap keeps the connections dry. The subwoofer meets or exceeds ASTM standards for UV and salt/fog exposure and ships with stainless steel mounting hardware and a rear gasket for a clean, sealed install. This is the 4 ohm single voice coil version.
