Description
The Airmar B175L is a 1kW low-frequency CHIRP bronze thru-hull transducer built for deep-water fishing and reliable bottom tracking at extreme depths. Its 40 to 60kHz CHIRP band reaches down to around 762m (2,500ft), giving offshore anglers and bluewater cruisers dependable returns in water where higher frequencies fall away.
This 0 degree Tilted Element model is intended for hulls with little or no deadrise, holding the ceramic element so the beam points vertically for an accurate reading. It uses the XSonic 9-pin connector for Navico Lowrance, Simrad and B&G systems, and integrates depth and fast-response water-temperature sensing in a low-profile bronze housing for fibreglass or wood hulls.
