Description
The Maretron CABLE-STARTER-1 is a convenient starter kit that provides the core components needed to build a compact NMEA 2000 backbone. It bundles the essential network hardware into a single pack, making it ideal for a small installation or as the foundation for a larger network.
The kit includes one powertap tee for injecting 12 volt power into the backbone, one standard tee connector, two male terminating resistors to correctly terminate each end of the backbone, and two Micro (DeviceNet Micro) drop or backbone cables of 2 metres and 6 metres. Together these parts let you create a properly powered and terminated network for connecting Maretron and other NMEA 2000 devices.
