Description
The Maretron USB100 provides one simple, opto-isolated connection between an NMEA 2000 network and a Windows PC, eliminating the multiplexers and tangle of wiring usually needed to interface marine instruments to a computer. It lets you take full advantage of PC-based vessel monitoring and control software such as Maretron N2KView, while continuing to use navigation and charting software you already own.
For applications that expect NMEA 0183, the gateway automatically translates a wide range of NMEA 2000 data types, including GPS, depth, speed, wind, heading, rudder and engine parameters, into NMEA 0183 sentences. Used together with Maretron N2KAnalyzer software, the USB100 also lets you configure, update and troubleshoot products connected to the network, and save and restore a vessel's full product configuration should a device need replacing.
