Description
The Maretron PT-0-500PSI-01 is a gauge-type pressure transducer that senses fluid pressure over a 0 to 500 PSI (34.5 bar) range and passes the reading to a Maretron FPM100 Fluid Pressure Monitor. The FPM100 converts the signal into NMEA 2000 data so the pressure can be displayed on any compatible display or monitoring system aboard the vessel.
With a 0 to 500 PSI span it is well suited to hydraulic circuits, oil pressure and other medium-pressure systems using media such as motor oil, diesel, hydraulic fluid, water and air. A rugged stainless steel body and a 1/4 inch NPT male fitting allow it to be threaded directly into the system being monitored.
For best accuracy choose the smallest range sufficient for the application. Where pressure spikes or transients may occur, fit a PT-SNUB-01 pressure snubber ahead of the transducer. Not approved for use with petrol or gasoline.
