Description
The Maretron PT-0-50PSI-01 is a gauge-type pressure transducer that senses fluid pressure over a 0 to 50 PSI (3.45 bar) range and passes the reading to a Maretron FPM100 Fluid Pressure Monitor. The FPM100 converts the transducer signal into NMEA 2000 data, so the measured pressure can be displayed on any compatible display or monitoring system aboard the vessel.
Suited to water, motor oil, diesel, hydraulic fluid, brake fluid, air and similar media, the transducer is ideal for monitoring oil or hydraulic system pressures, water pressure, or for detecting clogged filters through loss of pressure. A rugged stainless steel body and a 1/4 inch NPT male fitting allow it to be threaded directly into the system or tank being monitored.
Choose the smallest range that suits the application for the best accuracy. Where pressure spikes or transients may occur, fit a PT-SNUB-01 pressure snubber ahead of the transducer to protect it. Not approved for use with petrol or gasoline.
