Description
The Maretron PT-V-0-1BAR-01 is a gauge-type pressure transducer that measures over a compound vacuum to 1 bar range (-14.5 to 14.5 PSI) and passes the reading to a Maretron FPM100 Fluid Pressure Monitor, or a CLM100 Current Loop Monitor. The monitor converts the signal into NMEA 2000 data so the value can be displayed anywhere on the vessel.
Because it reads both vacuum and positive pressure, it is particularly useful for detecting clogged fuel or air filters through the vacuum they create, as well as general low-pressure and vacuum monitoring. It works with air, diesel, motor oil, hydraulic fluid, water, waste water and other compatible media.
A stainless steel body with a ceramic sensing element and a 1/4 inch NPT male fitting allow direct mounting into the system being monitored. Where pressure spikes may occur, fit a PT-SNUB-01 pressure snubber first. Not approved for use with petrol or gasoline.
