Description
The Maretron CLM100 Current Loop Monitor bridges the gap between industrial 4-20mA sensors and your NMEA 2000 network. It converts the analogue output of commercially available current loop transducers into digital data that can be shown on any Maretron display, opening up a huge range of monitoring possibilities from a single module.
Six independently programmable channels each support numerous transducer types, including DC voltage and current, flow rate, distance, linear and angular velocity and acceleration, temperature, humidity, resistance, strain gauges, force (load cells), pressure, decibels and rotational rate. Typical uses include vibration monitoring of pumps, motors, fans and gearboxes for early fault warning, shaft speed monitoring, and load measurement on mast stays or tow points using 4-20mA clevis pins.
With 1% full-scale accuracy exclusive of the transducer and a 12-15 VDC current loop excitation supply, the CLM100 is a versatile way to integrate specialist sensors into a Maretron monitoring system.
