Description
This Garmin OnDeck security sensor lets the OnDeck system warn you if a door, hatch or window on your boat is opened while the vessel is unattended. It is a two-part magnetic contact: one half mounts on the frame and the other on the door or window, and the sensor triggers when the two parts move apart. Alerts are delivered through the ActiveCaptain app.
Up to 30 security sensors can be installed in series on a single OnDeck input, so you can protect several access points. Each sensor wires to the security input on the OnDeck hub IN/OUT harness and is set up in the ActiveCaptain app. It is an accessory for the Garmin OnDeck hub.
