Description

The Victron SmartSolar Control display is a pluggable LCD display for compatible SmartSolar and BlueSolar MPPT charge controllers. It plugs directly into the display port on the front face of the controller, turning it into a self-contained unit with a clear local read-out of charging status, battery voltage, current and solar yield. There is no wiring to do; you simply remove the cover over the display terminal and insert the display.

The display shows live PV and battery data along with 30-day and cumulative historical values, and it can also be used to view and change the charger's settings. It is hot-swappable, so it can be fitted permanently or used temporarily and moved between chargers. The SmartSolar Control display fits Victron 150V and 250V BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT controllers that are equipped with a display port (marked "display option" on the front face).

Which controllers does the SmartSolar Control display fit?
It is designed for Victron 150V and 250V BlueSolar and SmartSolar MPPT charge controllers that are fitted with a display port (recognisable by a small cover marked "display option" on the front face). It is not used with the smaller 75V/100V class controllers.
How does it fit?
It plugs directly into the display port on the front face of the charger. You remove the plastic cover over the display terminal and insert the display, then secure it with the two screws. No wiring is required.
Can it be removed again?
Yes. The display is hot-swappable, so it can be plugged in or removed while the solar charger is operating, and can be used as either a permanent or a temporary display.
What can it show?
It displays live readings such as PV power, yield, voltage and current, and battery voltage, current and charge stage, plus 30-day and cumulative historical data. It can also be used to view and change solar charger settings.
