What size is the Simrad GO7 screen?
The GO7 has a 7-inch widescreen colour display with WVGA 800 x 480 resolution. It is a multi-touch screen with a bright backlight for clear viewing in direct sunlight.
Does the GO7 have built-in GPS and Wi-Fi?
Yes. The GO7 has an internal GPS receiver and built-in Wi-Fi, which lets you download chart updates and view the display on a phone or tablet, and control the unit from a tablet.
What sonar does the GO7 support and which transducer is included?
The GO7 has a built-in CHIRP sounder with DownScan Imaging and connects a single 9-pin XSonic transducer. This version is supplied without a transducer, so you can pair it with the XSonic transducer of your choice.
Can I add radar to the GO7?
Yes. The GO7 has a radar (Ethernet) connection and supports Simrad Broadband 3G and 4G radar as well as HALO dome radar. Radar is sold separately for this version.
How does the GO7 connect to other equipment, and what is its power and waterproof rating?
The GO7 uses NMEA 2000 networking for engine data, sensors, autopilot and FUSION audio, and has an Ethernet port for radar. It runs on a 10 to 17 V DC supply and carries an IPX7 waterproof rating.
