The Garmin inReach Mini 2 Marine Bundle pairs the compact inReach Mini 2 satellite communicator with a marine mount, keeping two-way messaging and safety alerts within easy reach at the helm. Using the global Iridium satellite network, it lets you send and receive text messages, share your location, download inReach marine weather forecasts and trigger an interactive SOS to the Garmin Response coordination centre, staffed 24/7. An active satellite subscription is required.
A multi-GNSS chipset (GPS, Galileo, QZSS and BeiDou) and TracBack routing help guide you back to your start point, while Bluetooth pairing with the Garmin Explore app adds maps and easier messaging. The internal rechargeable lithium-ion battery lasts up to 14 days at 10-minute tracking, or up to 30 days at 30-minute tracking, and the unit is rated to IPX7.
