Description
The Maretron NF-NM4P-NF is a Mini Powertap with fuses, used to feed DC power into an NMEA 2000 network backbone. It inserts into the trunk as a female-to-female fitting and connects the vessel supply to the network in a convenient plug-and-play manner, with two internal replaceable fuses protecting the bus and connected devices from excessive current.
Uniquely, the powertap provides two power inputs, allowing a doubled power feed for larger networks. Built-in LED status indicators confirm that power is present and that polarity is correct, giving a quick visual check during installation and fault-finding. The Mini format suits the heavier trunk cabling used on larger NMEA 2000 systems.
