Description
The Oceanic Systems 4410 16 Channel Switch Input Module monitors switch-closure devices and reports their status over the NMEA2000 network, forming a key part of a vessel monitoring and control system. It suits fire, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, bilge and flood float switches, door, porthole and hatch switches, PIR motion detectors, valve status and coolant flow switches, over-temperature alarms, water-in-fuel switches and many more. The PLC quality inputs are manufactured to IEC61131 and IEC61000, so they are optically isolated and fully protected against ESD, voltage surges and transients.
The module works with 12 or 24 Volt systems and needs no setup menus, just two small rotary address switches. It can be panel or DIN rail mounted using the clips provided, and connections use WAGO cage clamp terminals for solid or stranded wire from 0.08 to 1.5 mm2.
