Description
This is a genuine FLIR Marlin-series service part, the thermal-interface pad fitted to the underside (bottom) of the MX board within the Marlin thermal camera core. It bridges the small gap between the board and its heat path, conducting heat away efficiently so the MX board electronics stay within their intended operating temperature.
Supplied as a replacement to be renewed whenever the assembly is opened for service, the pad should be positioned correctly by a qualified technician during reassembly. Using the genuine pad preserves the original thermal management inside the camera.
